Mangalore, Oct 5: Five chief managers of Karnataka Bank have been promoted to assistant general managers this month.
Ananthapadmanabha B, Bangalore Data Centre, joined the bank in 1995 and was promoted to chief manager in 2004. Chandrashekar Rao B of Bangalore-overseas branch, also joined the bank in 1995 and worked in New Delhi overseas and Ludhiana branches, as well as credit department at the head office and was promoted to chief manager in 2005.

Ravishankar N R of the planning and development department, joined as an officer in 1980. He worked in branches at Bangalore, Mumbai, Surat, Panchakula, and Chandigarh, as well as Delhi regional office, before being promoted as chief manager in 2004. Venkappaya Bhat K, inspection and audit department, joined the bank in 1982 and worked at branches in Mumbai, New Delhi, Vadodara, Mangalore, Tirupur, and Bangalore before becoming chief manager in 2002.
Ravindranath Hande H P, Delhi regional office, joined the bank in 1985. He worked in branches at Chodulu, Biccodu, Mahalingapur, Bellary, and Chickmagalur before becoming chief manager in 2005. With this promotion, he will head the bank’s regional office in Shimoga.
