B'lore: Attack on Churches - HC Issues Notices to State, Centre Govts

Bangalore, Oct 4: The divisional bench of the state High Court, which took up the petitions filed by several Catholic Christian organizations, demanding to hand over the probe relating to the incidents of attacks on churches to the Central Bureau of Investigation, ordered issuance of notices to the state and the union governments on Friday October 3.

Seven organizations including The Catholic Sabha of Diocese of Mangalore, The Catholic Sabha of Diocese of Mysore and others had filed public interest petitions in the High Court, demanding for handing over the cases of attacks on churches to the CBI.

The divisional bench headed by Chief Justice P D Dinakaran asked both the central and the state governments, to file complete details of the incidents. In addition, notices have also been issued to the state chief secretary, state director general of police and the state home department.

    I fully agree with Mr. thimothy, mysore, bahrain. The full Govt. machinery itself is involved and corrupt. Now they will divert the attention on terrorist to Muslim community. But nobody will answer the question who created these terrorist and why?

    Yes, I agree with Dr. Rego that the so-called "forced coversions" is utter non-sense, but beware, recently they only say "conversion", which they themselves are doing. Otherwise, how does one account for the hundreds of Caucasian devotees roaming around Udupi district so often, and are often found taking part in the processions that take place ?

    It is a good news of handing over the issue to the CBI.But we should not forget and divert our attention. Now Mangalore police is diverting there attention to muslim terorists. Where they err in securing the minority community. Hindu fundmentalists and terorists are left free. First of all this is the work of culprit BJP governament. these police force itself involved in these incidents, these corrupt police force first to be captured. then the real culprits will be get caught.

    At last some glimmers of hope! I hope the esteemed High Court will succeed where the incompetent State Governments have miserably failed. I pray, please order a CBI inquiry. Give us justice. Stop this non-sense of "forced Conversion" bogey and terrorists taking law in their own hands. Well done Citizens - at least you have acted - unlike the elected useless & anti-people governments.
