Parrikar backs Modi on job creation

Panaji, Jul 4 (IANS): Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday backed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assertion on job creation, saying credit for jobs created by state governments and private sector should also be shared with the Central government.

"As Prime Minister recently said, if Karnataka produced 51 lakh (jobs) and West Bengal generated 69 lakh jobs, obviously these are state figures, people cannot dispute. That means all over India in last four years, the employment generated must be in crores," Parrikar said at a function held at the Secretariat, to mark the launch of a digitally enabled state employment exchange.

"State government also deserves credit for pushing a lot of employment but it is also important that the central government also gives potential opportunities through various initiatives including giving states their due share," the former Defence Minister said.

Mr Parikkar.. You are an educated minister.. Pls enlighten us by telling us what dues did Central Govt give the Karnataka and West Bengal that enabled these job creations.. Dont just shoot arrows in the dark sir.. Give facts... Such baseless statements and claims will reflect your ignorance and blind faith... You do know that the southern states get less than Rs30 from the Central govt in the form of taxes devolved and other transfers for every Rs100 they contributed bqck to the Central exchequer in 2016-17. while states such as Bihar and Uttar Pradesh received around 200% and 150%, respectively of what they contributed.. Stop faking like everyone else in the Jumla party sir.. it does look good on you

Just the other day Modi said " Jobs are created but data on jobs creation is not created". Then how and from where Parikkar got the data from????. Parrikkar was sick and was in the US for treatment cut off from outside world. Very noble way to thank BJP and Modi for taking care of your foriegn medical bills from taxpayers money.
