Abu Dhabi: KCF UAE to hold free mass marriage in Sep 2018

Abu Dhabi, Jul 4: Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF), the organization that is the priede of NRI Kannadigas, on the occasion of completion of five years of its inception, officially announced free mass marriage, one of the five exemplary works proclaimed by the national committee of UAE, on June 29 in the presence of national leaders of KCF and representatives of ICF and RSC.

Speaking on the occasion, Janab Sheikh Bava, Mangaluru said, "Free mass marriage programme is intended to be carried out in the month of September 2018 in native place. The entire expense of the marriage will be borne by KCF. In addition, five sovereign of gold to the bride and the wedding dress for the couple will also be given."

Abdul Hameed Saadi Ishwaramangala, president of national committee of KCF, who inagurated the programme said the the KCF will try to complete the other intended works of arranging drinking water at five places, selecting five poor students and providing financial help to them in order to appear for public service examinations like IPS and IAS and a mammoth KCF Madrasa for the Kannadigas living in UAE in the year 2018 itself.

Abdul Hameed recalled the grand celebration of Karnataka Family Fest - 2018, that was organized on March 30 at Ajman Gulf Medical University ground, which enthralled the activists of the association through various competitions, religious and cultural programmes.
