Mangalore, Sep 29: In an incident that occured at Bolar in the city, a student drowned in river Netravati on the evening of Sunday September 28.

The ill-fated person has been identified as Conel Rodrigues(19), a student of Alolysius College here. He was swimming alongwith three of his friends, when tragedy struck.

Pandeshwar policemen have registered a case.
