Mangalore, Sep 27: The Vishwa Hindu Parishat passed a resolution against proselytizing as well as inequality against Hindus and urged for the enactment of a law to ban cow slaughter at its ‘Hindu Dharmika Mahasabe’ held at Sanganiketan on Friday September 26.
The Mahasabe condemned the conversion of Hindus and defamation of Hindu deities by Christian missionaries. It urged the union government to enact a law banning conversion. The congregation demanded the government introduce a uniform civil code, rather than appeasing the minorities.
It alleged that majority Hindus have been treated as second class citizens with all privileges being enjoyed only by minorities. The Mahasabe also passed a resolution that maths and temples should become the hub of uniting Hindu society, abolition of untouchability, education, and service.
