Mumbai, Sep 23: The annual general body meeting of Kannada Sangh, Santa Cruz, was held recently at Billava Bhavan auditorium, and was chaired by president L V Amin.

Social and cultural committee president B R Poonja, education committee president B Ravindra Amin, planning committee president Shivaram Kotian, members Narayan S Shetty, Sudhakar Ucchil, Felix D'Souza, Joseph Castelino, N M Sanil, and Sujata Shetty, were present.

Laxmi Kotian said the prayers while vice-president Nityanand D Kotian welcomed the gathering. Honorary treasurer Chandrahas J Kotian read the annual report. Joint secretary G R Bangera and joint treasurer Sundar V Amin read the guidelines for enrollment of members.

Nishmita Poojary and Ramesh Kottari spoke on the yeomen service of the Sangh in promoting education. Honorary chief secretary B D Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks.
