Mangalore, Sep 22: St Vincent De Paul Society (SVP)–Angelore, built a small,modest, house for Cecilia Rasquinha, as part of its ‘Shelter for a poor family,’ project. This house was inaugurated and blessed at 10.30 am on Monday September 22, by Cynthia D'Souza, president, SVP-Angelore, and Fr Stany B Lobo, parish priest, Guardian Angel’s church, Angelore.
The generous donations by Angelore parishioners and other like-minded people made this possible. The house has an area of around 450 sq ft. The president and the members of SVP-Angelore, thanked all the donors. The unit has plans to build at least one house a year for the poor, and requests the continuous support of generous souls.
