Puttur: Woman commits suicide near Kadaba

Puttur, Jun 20: Leelavathi (52), resident of Nadthila House in Sharavoor, Alankaru village within the limits of Kadaba police station, ended her life by consuming poison on Monday June 18.

Leelavathi, wife of Nagappa Gowda, is learnt to have been frustrated with her life for various reasons. On Sunday, she had consumed poison and fallen ill. She was admitted into the government hospital here. Although she was treated, she did not properly respond to treatment and breathed her last on Monday, it is gathered.

A case of unnatural death in this connection was registered in Kadaba police station.
