Beltangady, Sep 22: Former chief minister H D Kumarswamy said that there was a possibility of the Bajrang Dal's involvement in the recent serial bomb blasts that took place in Bangalore. The BJP and its associate organizations are ready to do anything for votes, he alleged.
Addressing media persons on Sunday September 21, Kumaraswamy said that he will meet President Pratibha Patil and ask her to impose President’s rule in the state, if the attacks on Christians continue unabated.
He indicated that he would hold a JD(S) party meeting shortly to chalk out plans to devise strategy in the aftermath of the recent attacks on Christians and their worship centers.
Kumaraswamy pointed out that the Swamis of various Maths took to the streets when the JD (S) refused to handover power to the BJP. But the BJP has shown its true colours now by sponsoring attacks on churches in the state. He questioned as to why the Swamis are not raising their voices against these attacks. Earlier, he visited the church in Ujire that had recently come under attack.
