Panaji, Jun 15(TNN): Finnish national Felix Dhal’s murder case has been posted for next week for final arguments and disposal.
The case didn’t come up for hearing at the high court of Bombay at Goa on Thursday, even as representatives from the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi travelled to Goa in anticipation of justice.
Dahl’s mother Minna Pirhonen, represented by advocate Shikha Sethia, is seeking transfer of the case to the CBI.
In her petition, Pirhonen said she didn’t want Goa police to conduct any further investigation and wanted the case to be transferred to CBI.
Goa police decided not to file a chargesheet stating that they hadn’t found any evidence to prove murder. In 2016, the case was registered as a murder after the judicial magistrate first class directed Goa police to do so.
