Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Jun 8: "By forming the unholy alliance, a coalition government has been formed in the state. Instead of working for the development of the state, leaders of these parties are fighting with each other to bag ministerial berths. This coalition, which is not responding to problems of the people and not interested in development, is fit to be brought down and the concerned should face fresh election in order to meet the aspirations of the people," said former MLA, Prabhakara Bangera.

Speaking at a press conference held here on Wednesday June 6, Bangera expressed confidence that the two candidates fielded by BJP for the legislative council elections, Ayanur Manjunath from graduates constituency and Capt Ganesh Karnik from teachers constituency will become victorious hands down.

He noted that the taluk has 1,281 voters in graduates constituency and 953 in teachers constituency. For the voters of the taluk, taluk office here is the polling booth for the polling being held on June 8. They can exercise votes between 7 am to 5 pm on that day, he said, duly requesting all the voters to exercise their franchise.

Zilla panchayat member, Koragappa Naik, taluk panchayat members, Vijay Gowda Venoor, Shashidhar Kalmanja and several other leaders were present.
