Udupi, Sep 15: District Taxi Owners' and Drivers' Association, staged a protest at Ammunje petrol pump, located in the city, on Monday September 15 afternoon, alleging that the petrol pump authorities are only dispensing diesel to passenger buses and not to their taxies.

Association members blocked the access road to Ammunje petrol pump by haphazardly parking, on Monday afternoon, pressing the petrol pump owner Ammunje Vasant Nayak, to heed to their demands.

Association chief secretary Ramesh Kotian, office-bearers Satish, Madhukar Mudrady and others were involved in the protest.
