Bengaluru, May 31: Hearing into the appeal filed by IAS officer, Rohini Sindhuri Dasari, against the quashing of her petition questioning her premature transfer from the post of the deputy commissioner of Hassan district filed with Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) stands posted to June 9 by the state high court.
The appeal which has questioned the CAT order dated April 17 this year came up for hearing before a single judge bench of the high court headed by Justice B S Patil on Wednesday May 30.
The bench, before posting the hearing to June 9, observed that it needs some time to conduct hearing, as the issue involved is of serious nature.
In her appeal, Rohini, said that CAT did not consider any of the arguments put forth on her behalf. She observed that instead of passing an order, the CAT wrote a thesis, which does not contain proper reasons for quashing of her application. She also said that her arguments were not heard by CAT in detail as per the previous order of the high court.
On April 28, the high court had issued interim stay against the order of the CAT and asked Rohini to take charge at the place of her posting. She had been transferred from Hasson to the post of the commissioner of employment and training.
