Beltangady, May 31: After a motor bike skidded at Laila in the taluk on Wednesday May 30, its rider lost his life.

Hasainar (35) from Kerala was moving towards Ujire from Beltangady when the wheels of his two-wheeler skidded when passing through Laila junction on the night of Wednesday.

Hasainar had suffered serious injuries to his head. He was immediately taken to local hospital and treated. But his life could not be saved because of the gravity of the accident.

A case about the accident was registered in the traffic police station here.

    He was riding in the night and got head injuries. Clear case of not wearing an helmet. Can the youngsters please make sure your helmets are strapped on your heads and not hanging on your hands?
