Mumbai, May 28: Billavara Association on Saturday evening May 26 held a programme at Narayanaguru auditorium, Billavara Bhavan.

Well known poet, critic and teacher Subraya Chokkadi was presented Guru Narayana literary award – 2018 sponsored by M B Kukyan, honorary chief editor of Akshaya monthly magazine, the organ of Billavara Association, Mumbai on the occasion.

Well known author Dr Sunitha M Shetty released a book on M B Kukyan written by Akshaya monthly magazine editor Dr Ishwar Alevoor.

Mamatha R Nayak sang a prayer song. Association honorary chief secretary Dharmapal G Anchan welcomed everyone and delivered the keynote address. Jayarama G Nayak introduced the awardee. Akshaya magazine assistant editor Harish Hejmady introduced the guests and compered the programme. Advocate Sathish N Bangera thanked everyone.
Gurunarayana night school old students presented dances.
