Mumbai, May 28: Billavara Association in association with Billava Chamber of Commerce and Industry held Jeevanotsav 2018 programme at Santacruz Billava Bhavan on Saturday morning May 26.

Billavara Association president Nithyananda D Kotian chaired the programme. Former chief treasurer of the association, veteran leader N M Sanil and former president L V Ameen lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme.

Well known life skill coach Sudhaker Karkal who set the programme in motion said that success in life is possible only with physical and mental evolution. “Changes in life are necessary for it. Unemployment in densely populated India is a big problem. The country will be self reliant only when young people are employed.”

Shama Suvarna Pune, Nutan S Suvarna, Yashodha N Poojary, Ratan U Sanil, Dr Mohan Bollaru, Bhavan manager Bhasker T Poojary, several elite and office bearers of the association and BCCI were present.

Swathi Moolya and Sushma sang a prayer song. Association honorary secretary Dharmapal G Anchan welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Association joint secretary Harish G Salian, Vishwanath Thonse and BCCI secretary advocate Anand M Poojary introduced the guests. Association vice president advocate Raja V Salian, Dr U Dhananjay Kumar, Shanker D Poojary, honorary chief treasurer Mahesh C Karkal and women's wing president Shakuntala K Kotian presented flower bouquets to the guests and honoured them. Ashok Sasihitlu thanked everyone.
