Mangaluru, May 12: Tulu film ‘Appe Teacher’ which released on March 23, completed fifty days in coastal Karnataka. The film has earned Rs two cr in its 50-day run.
‘Appe Teacher’ has earned good reviews from the audience and hence is running to packed houses. According to sources, the film has been watched by two lac people with 20,000 new viewers. Coastalwood which was on a dull note from the past 8-10 months, has suddenly sprang to life with this blockbuster.
The film is being screened at many theatres in coastal Karnataka. The film was also released in Mudigere and Sakleshpur this week. There are requests for screening in Bengaluru, Mumbai and overseas.
Sunil and Niriksha Shetty play the lead in the movie, while Usha Bhandary, Devdas Kaapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, Sandeep Shetty, and Shailashree are playing prominent roles in the movie. The film has been produced under the banner of Swayam Prabha movies and entertainment.
Sandalwood movie fame Ravi Basrur composed the background music of ‘Appe Teacher’. The dubbing process of the film was done at Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd.
