Ballari, May 3 (Agencies) : Alleging that the Congress carried out vote-bank politics, PM Modi said the BJP government was sensitive that looks after aspirations of people.
He was addressing a rally in Ballari on Thursday May 3. Interestingly, the place is popularly known as 'Reddys' Ballari' for political reasons.

"The Congress does vote-bank politics. They divide people on the grounds of caste. They are insensitive towards the tribal communities and the OBCs," Modi said.
Speaking on welfare of farmers, the PM said, "Ours is a sensitive government which looks after the aspirations of people and then formulate policies. Through the Fasal Bima Yojana we have been able to ensure welfare of farmers."
PM Modi alleged that not even a single work is possible without corruption and bribery. "Look at rising illegal mining in the state. Congress government in Karnataka could not even frame a strong mining policy," he said.
The PM's comment comes on the backdrop of its decision to bring back the Reddy brothers, who are mining barons, in mainstream politics by giving them prime positions in these polls.
The PM, who had earlier called the Siddaramaiah government a 10 per cent government, further said the state had created a 'Sidda-Rupaiah Sarkar'. "It has created a debt-burden for the state. People can no longer tolerate them. They will give a strong reply on 12th May," Modi said. "Congress has ruined the rich history and legacy of Ballari. By defaming Ballari, they have disrespected the people of this district," he said.
With reports estimating that the IT hub of Bengaluru will run dry by 2020, PM Modi targeted the Congress government over the issue. "When we had got the opportunity to serve people of Karnataka earlier, so many development initiatives were undertaken. But sadly, the Congress could not even ensure proper water supply despite the state being rich in water resources," the PM said.
"Your enthusiasm and zeal shows that the Congress is going to lose the last castle of Karnataka"Â said Modi.Â
