Speaking to daijiworld, Sunil Kumar Bajal said, "Day by day CPI(M) is growing stronger in the district. The party is attracting the younger generation and the working class. BJP knows that it is getting weaker, so it is trying to stop newcomers to the CPI(M). They think muscle power can stop our growing strength. They fear defeat in the election in Mangaluru North and South constituencies, and today's incident shows their frustration."
