Bengaluru: 'Not secret anymore' - CM Siddaramaiah exposes BJP-JD(S) deal

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Apr 28: Even though JD(S) and BJP have both denied that JD(S) is BJP’s ‘B’ team, situation in Chamundeshwari speaks otherwise.

Chief minister Siddaramaiah himself has exposed this 'secret' deal between the two parties.

Sharing a video, the CM tweeted, "GT Deve Gowda of JDS says “where JDS candidate is strong BJP voters will vote JDS & where BJP is strong JDS voters will vote BJP.” The secret understanding between BJP & JDS is not no secret anymore.
Time for JDS to shed secular pretensions (sic)."

JD(S) leaders themselves have claimed that BJP is openly supporting them in the constituency to ensure Siddaramaiah is defeated.

In Chamundeshwari, it is established that the fight is between only two political heavyweights chief minister Siddaramaiah and sitting JD(S) lawmaker G T Devegowda. While Chamundeshwari has a high number of Kurubas - members from Siddaramaiah’s caste, it also has Vokkaligas who are known to support JD(S).

JD(S) workers claim that BJP did not pitch in a strong member in the community as they did not want to split JD(S) votes.

G T Devegowda has admitted in an interview that he does not see BJP as a strong contender in Chamundeshwari and even BJP workers are supporting him. His actual contender is only Siddaramaiah, he said.

Recently, Congress president Rahul Gandhi had termed the JD(S) as the 'B' team of the BJP, and in his election rallies in the state had said that 'S' in JD(S) now stood for 'Sangh Parivar' instead of Secular.

Chances of Coalition?

It is difficult to predict who may approach JD(S) in case a need of coalition arises, as both BJP as well as Congress have ruled out the possibility of joining the JD(S).

Sources reveal that Congress leaders Mallikarjuna Kharge, G Parameshwara, D K Shivakumar, T B Jayachandra, Kagodu Thimmappa and R V Deshpande want to keep the JD(S) option open but Siddaramaiah and the seven MLAs who recently joined Congress are against the move.

Only time will tell, if Congress or BJP will get majority vote share, as per their claims or they have to knock on JD(S) doors.

All Vokkaligas will vote for BJP /JDS
75% lingayats will vote for BJP ..25% to congress
75% Dalits backwards castes will vote for Modi
75% poojaris will vote for BJP.
100% Christians will vote for congress
100% Muslims will vote for congress.

BJP winning state elections is dependant on voter turn out. We have seen in the past that all muslims and christians come to vote .Not all hindus do not vote. If the voter percentage is 75+ Then B JP will win with thumping majority ,,,if not it will be a fractured mandate

If JDS forces congress to desert Siddu and support congress with other CM candidate, then congress will split. Siddu with supporters will come out of congress.

In any case siddu will not be the CM of Karnataka after May 12, 2018.

The two opposition parties have decided to help each other to defeat the Congress in the district, which currently hold eight out of the 11 assembly segment is not secret anymore.

The party has gone to the extent of changing its candidate to facilitate the BJP's victory. Now the JD(S) has entered into a tacit understanding with the BJP to ensure laters victory in Varuna.

JD(S) and BJP are like marrying ex-wife. None of the party has any ethics when it comes to power. All that JD(S) need is to remain in power. The state of Bihar is one classic example for Kannadiga to learn before they go to case vote for JD(S) in particular.
In last 10 months of CM Nitish Kumar government nearly 800 communal riots had taken place which 'zero' in RJD rule. This increase lawlessness BJP will make use of it blaming Nitish inefficiency Chief Minister.
The JD(S) is working as the BJP's assistant in this election. They are working with all their dedication to ensure the BJP's victory.
In 2006, the JD(S) ditched the Congress to take down Karnataka's first coalition government, creating the space for the BJP to easily win the state in the 2008 election. "It is unlikely the Janata Dal and Congress will come together, although this would be Deve Gowda's first choice," said Devraj Horatti, a senior JD(S) leader from North Karnataka. "but his son would prefer to go with the BJP, unless the Congress agrees to replace Mr Siddaramaiah (as Chief Minister)."
So if the opinion polls prove right in their forecast of Mr Gowda serving as king-maker, results in Karnataka may serve as the start and not the conclusion of intricate politics.
Any addition seat for JD(S) is equivalent unstable government. In a sweet deal BJP will give up Chief Minister to Kumarswamy in plum post in the ministry pushing the state into another Uttar Pradesh' in the making.
JD(S) spoil spot for Karnataka's fate in the coming assembly elections along with Mayawati's BSP and newly formed Mahila Empowerment party.

Vokkaliga consolidation will prove to be Siddaramaiah's doom. For long the old mysore vokkaliga community have been ignored and humiliated by the Congress regime under Siddhu. It is no secret that even vokkaliga leaders in Congress do not want Siddhu to become CM.

Even the netas of both national party aspire for hung assembly instead of absolute majority, as both CM candidates can be kept away and its cake walk for Parmeshi/Kharge or Anantu and their followers, with B-Team. However kummy will be DCM in both case.

At the end of the Day, Siddhu has accepted its not a cake walk for Congress to get even simple Majority.

If Doongis are so sure abut their No 1 Governance & people acceptance, they should not peep into neighbors to check what JDs & BJP is hatching.

Why not ? If there is a party like JDS which so claims to be a secular party and fooling the people and is try to pull in the secular votes how can it tie up with a coomunal party like the BJP. The truth has to come out and Siddaramiah is doing the right thing by exposing the Nexus between these two back stabbing parties I.e. BJP n JDS.
