Koppal, Apr 28: "Rahul Gandhi, president of Congress party, who has asked to cut down the national song 'Vande Mataram' in a programme is unfit to continue in politics," said Amit Shah, national president of BJP.
He was speaking at the Karunada Jagrathi Yatra on the evening of Friday, April 27 at Kukanur town. Continuing his attack on Congress he said, "On May 15, the day of the counting of votes, Congress government is going to bite the dust. There is a BJP wave in Karnataka state and it is 100% sure that BJP by Yeddyurappa will wrest power from Congress,"
"Rahul Baba of Congress is running around saying that Congress will retain power in Karnataka. Let him know that BJP government is ruling in most of the states of India. In the last five years of Siddaramaiah rule, no development has taken place in the state. He has developed self rather than the state of Karnataka,"
In the interactive session that took place in Shiva cine talkies of Koppal, Amit Shah explained the cadre of BJP as to how to get ready to win all the five legislative constituency seats of the district. He also explained the preparations that are done already and what needs to done in the coming days.
Strict warning to Janardhan Reddy
Amit Shah has warned in no uncertain terms to Janardhan Reddy not to campaign for BJP candidates in the coming elections including latter’s close aide Sriramulu. The reason for this step of Amit Shah is that the opposition parties at the national level are portraying BJP of allowing the Reddy brothers to dominate the political scene in Karnataka state.
