Dubai: Kannada Paata Shaale completes four years successfully

Dubai, Apr 24: Kannada Paata Shaale – Dubai, the dream baby of Kannada Mitraru Dubai completed its four seasons successfully. The school conducted a valedictory ceremony recently to conclude the activities of the year 2017-18 in a memorable way.

Prabhakar Ambaltere, Karnataka NRI Forum chief secretary, Druva Satyanarayan, an NKR and a strong supporter of Kannada language, Anthony Abraham one of the main supporter of Kannada Paatha Shale and Harish Kodi, executive committee member of KNRI forum UAE were the chief guests of the programme.



The programme started with a prayer song, sung by the student of Kannada Paata Shaale, Manish Kumar Narendra. Nagaraj Rao welcomed the guests and parents gathered in the school.

Shashidhar Nagrajappa, chief convenor of Kannada Paata Shaale and president of Kannada Mitraru UAE, rendered the details of school activities of this season to the gathered parents and guests.

Prabhakar Ambaltere addressed the gathering, recognised the selfless services rendered by the teachers of Kannada Paata Shaale and congratulated all of them. He also spoke about the difficulty, the organizers faces and appreciated the team for conducting classes for a continuous period of six months every year. He also assured to get some support from Karnataka government to host the Kannada School activities in a smooth manner in the future seasons to come.

Dhruva Satyanarayan spoke in short and suggested the team to make the children feel proud of their mother tongue and encouraged the children to learn Kannada more.
Antony Abhram , the other guest, congratulated the whole team of Kannada Paata Shaale for their tremendous efforts bringing up such a helpful concept in Dubai. Lastly, Harish Kodi addressed the gathering and he suggested the teachers to teach more moral values to the children along with Kannada education as it is more important to the upcoming generation.

The programme continued with few parents voluntarily came up to speak about their experience with Kannada Paata Shaale and expressed their gratitude to the teachers, organizers and to all the people who are part of Kannada Paata Shaale.

Then, the most awaited event for the kids, the certificate distribution was carried out under the leadership of Shilpa Siddalingesh. The guests honoured all children with certificates and medals as a token of appreciation.

Children of class 4 were happy to receive the book -Kannadakalikakaipidi obtained from Karnataka Development Board from state government with the help of KNRI forum president Praveen Kumar Shetty.

PrabhakarAmbaltere presented the mementos to all the teachers who make themselves available to teach the kids on every weekend. Kamakshisuresh and Chetana Gavaskar shared their experience on behalf of the teachers, Shwetha Nadig Sharma compered the show and the programme concluded with vote of thanks by Roopa Shashidhar.

Special thanks were given to organizing committee members and supporter Siddalingesh B R, Gavaskar, Meti, Putta Raju, Nagaraj Rao, Santosh, Girish, Vineeth, Yuvaraj, Venkatramana and all other supporters.

Next batch of Kannada classes will start from November 2018 till April 2019. Further information will be released soon.
