Mangalore, Aug 25: Richard Monteiro has been unanimously elected as the state president of All-India Catholic Union (AICU). This announcement was made at a national level meeting of the Union members held at Vailankanni, Tamilnadu recently.

Monteiro, president of B C Road Catholic Co-operative Society, is also functioning as the professional director of MCC Bank. He is the vice-president of Bantwal Rubber and Apiarists Co-operative Society and member of the governing council of Deepika High school.
