Mumbai, Feb 19: Bombay Bunts Association recently held its 12th annual sports festival at Rajiv Gandhi district sports complex, Sion west.

Association president, advocate Subhash B Shetty chaired the programme. Maharashtra government sports and youth services divisional assistant director N B Mote was the guest of honour. Bunts Association trustees Raghurama K Shetty, Sadananda R Shetty, former president Shama N Shetty, Kalyan Jasmine group president Dr Surendra V Shetty, Bandra R N Shetty Nursing Home head Dr R N Shetty, Tunga Hospital managing director Dr Sathish B Shetty, Javab president Jayaprakash Shetty and recipient of sports award K Uday Shetty were on the dais.

Office bearers invited the guests to the dais amidst the blowing of trumpets. NKES School NCC cadets and different organizations held march past. Padmanabha Payyade received the honours. N B Mote received the sport lantern from Saroj Shetty team, lit the lamp and set the sports festival in motion. Dr Sathish Shetty let the balloons to the sky.

Sports committee president Suresh Shetty Yeyyadi welcomed everyone. Geetha Sathish Shetty sang a prayer song. Amratha Shetty and Madhuraj introduced the guests and compered the programme. Association vice president Murali K Shetty, honorary chief secretary CA Surendra K Shetty, honorary chief treasurer CA Vishwanath S Shetty, joint secretary advocate Gunaker Shetty, joint treasurer Shamsunder S Shetty, women's wing president Sharada Shama Shetty and youth wing president Charan R Shetty presented flower bouquets to the guests and honored them. Sports committee secretary Udaya L Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

Several sports for all ages were held. Men and women participated in pulling the rope and women in throwball competitions. Vijay Shetty conducted sports.
