Mangaluru, Feb 17: Tulu film ‘Bale Pudar Deeka Ee Preetig’, directed by Manoranjan J V released on Friday, February 16.

Dr Devraj, a well-known academic person, researcher and director of SDM PG Centre for Management Studies and Research lighted the lamp and inaugurated the film’s screening at Jyoti theatre. He said that along with comedy, Coastalwood should produce movies which deliver good message to the society.

‘Bale Pudar Deeka Ee Preetig’ is the 87th Tulu film.

Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, Prakash Pandeshwar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Prakash Shetty Surathkal, Prema Shetty Surathkal, Manoranjan, Sudharshan, Vinay Kumar, Yogish Shetty Jeppu, Anvitha Sagar, Suraj Shetty, and Jagganath Shetty Bala were present. Lakshmeesh Poojary compered the programme.

The film has also released at Big Cinemas, PVR, and Cinepolis in Mangaluru. Shows are also at Kalpana in Udupi, Amarshree in Moodbidri, Radhika in Karkala, Aruna in Puttur, Nataraj in Surathkal, Bharat in Beltangady, and Santhosh in Sullia.

The film stars Karthik Shetty and Anvitha Sagar in the lead supported by a few known faces of Coastalwood. It has five songs written by Manoranjan J V, Razzak Puttur and Bharat Krishna. Tippu, Rajesh Krishnan, Pallavi Prabhu, and Supritha Lohith have lent their voice to the songs. Sudarshan and Manoranjan J V have composed music. The film has been shot in and around Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
