He was speaking at the annual day celebration of Sri Shanteri Mahalasa Narayani Welfare Trust of metro which began with Satyanarayan puja on Sunday August 3 morning at Dwaraknath Bhavan of Sri Gokarna Parthagali Jivottama Math, located at Wadala.
Former home minister and MLA Kripa Shankar who was the guest of honour, said that worshipping the Creator should become one's daily prayer which would in turn instill moral values.
Veteran hotelier Ramesh Kamath, Union Bank of India assistant general manager H M Wadke, Trust president Vishnu R Pai, honorary chief secretary A D Bhat, Wadala Math trustee V R Kamath were present on the occasion.
R V Shanbagh, Damodar Shetty and R N Pai were honoured on the occasion.
Dilip Pai, Anant Pai, Kota Prakash Ganapaty Pai and others were also present on the occasion.
The devotees Sri Mahalasa Kulavi from all over the state arrived at the Math to offer pujas. Prabhakar Shenoy Borivali couple was seated at the precinct of worship.
Trust's former president V N Navrekar welcomed the gathering. Dr Venkatesh G Pai compered the programme. Jagdish Kini proposed vote of thanks.
