Mumbai, Feb 5: Juhu Andheri Versova Ville Parle Association of Bunts, Javab held their annual friendship meeting at Residency association grounds, Andheri west on Saturday, February 3.

President of Javab, Jayaprakash Shetty lit the lamp with other office bearers, set the hall programme in motion and delivered a presidential address.

Ashok Kumar R Shetty Santuru and Satyashalini Ashok couple were felicitated on the occasion. Simol Alva was honored for special achievements. The president presented flower bouquets to M D Shetty, Aikala Harish Shetty, Padmanabha S Payyade, Ranjani Sudhaker Hegde, Kushala C Bhandary, Kalladka Karunaker Shetty, heads of other social organizations present on the occasion and felicitated them.

Joint secretary T Vishwanath Shetty, joint treasurer H Shekar Hegde, former president B Vivek Shetty, Anand P Shetty, N C Shetty, Raghu L Shetty, Vishwanath Hegde, Ramesh U Shetty, Nagesh N Shetty and other office bearers were present on the dais.

Former president B Shivarama Naik spoke commending the work of Javab.

Trustees Jayarama N Shetty, Rathnaker Rai, B R Poonja, Mahesh S Shetty, Krishna Y Shetty, CA Ravindra N Shetty, Diwaker S Shetty, Raghurama K Shetty, Panduranga S Shetty and others were present. C V Shetty and Prakash S Shetty who passed away were paid homage.

Honorary treasurer Ashok Kumar R Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. Javab members, women and children presented music, variety dances and parts of Ramayana epic. Members arrived in traditional attire and provided glitter to the programme.
