Mumbai: BSKB Association Gokula celebrates Republic Day

Mumbai, Jan 29: BSKB Association Gokula on Friday January 26 celebrated 69th Republic Day of India at V H Someshwar auditorium, Nerul east.

BSKB Association vice president Vaman Holla set the programmes in motion.

Madva Navami was celebrated later under the aegis of Gopalakrishna Public Trust and BSKB Association. BSKB Association president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel chaired the hall programme held in the evening. Honorary auditor CA Subba Rao couple who have been the auditors of the sangha for the last five decades were felicitated.

Vice president Vaman Holla, Shailini Rao, secretary A P K Pothi, joint secretary Chitra Melmane, P C N Rao, treasurer CA Haridas Bhat, joint treasurer Kusum Srinivas, Ashraya convener Chandravathi Rao and others were present. Talented students who secured highest marks in professional courses were honored.



Bollywood mixture based on Hindi film songs was held as part of the cultural programme. Nearly 50 artistes danced to the songs. Geetha Laxmi compered the cultural programme.

Anantha P Pothi welcomed everyone. Chandravathi Rao and Haridas Bhat compered the programme. Ashok Melmane commended the dedication and service of Subba Rao. Indrani Rao read the list of students who secured highest marks. P C N Rao proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded after the National Anthem.
