Moodbidri: ICYM deanery organises ‘Youth Cross’

Moodbidri, Jan 29: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Moodbidri Deanery organized ‘Youth Cross 2K18’ on account of ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru Diocese's mega event ‘Diaference 2K18’ on January 26.

‘Diaference 2K18’ based on the theme ‘Youth leaders as Christ's witness at different helms of the society’ will be held on February 11 at Pakshikere church ground.

Fr Jesudas D’Costa, director, ICYM Moodbidri deanery spoke on the importance of Youth Cross and the Year of Rosary. Moodbidri deanery vicar forane Fr Paul Sequeira led the rosary prayer by lighting lamps along with the gathering. The programme was presided by Moodbidri deanery vicar forane Fr Paul Sequeira along with Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza, Ajekar, director, ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru diocese, Fr Jesudas D’Costa, director, ICYM Moodbidri Deanery, all priests of Moodbidri deanery, ICYM Central Council, Mangalore diocese, president Elroy Saldanha Omzoor and all the ICYM diocesan council members, ICYM Moodbidri deanery president Rexon Crasta, Taccode, ICYM Moodbidri deanery secretary Naveen D’Souza Saverapura, ICYM Alangar unit president Francis Suraj and all the ICYM members of Moodbidri deanery were present in large numbers for the programme.



ICYM Moodbidri deanery president Rexon Crasta, Taccode welcomed the gathering. Jaison Periera Shirthady, treasurer, ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru diocese thanked each and everyone for being part of this historic event as well compered the programme. Youth Cross and inauguration of The Year of the Rosary was a historic and successful event which was systematically arranged with a unique idea and it was liked by one and all. The event was witnessed by a crowd of over 700.
