New Delhi, Jan 18 (IANS): Domestic vehicle telematics technology startup Trak N Tell on Thursday launched a new "Intelli Fleet" device to help owners of commercial vehicles secure their passengers and goods.

Price at Rs 8,499, the "Intelli Fleet" provides real-time tracking, an engine immobiliser, over-speeding alerts and geo-fence notifications, in addition to optional features such as a panic button for passengers and an AC on/off alert.

"Telematics is the perfect technology for vehicular protection, and we have been pioneers in providing comprehensive security for vehicles in India by leveraging the same," Ritu Gupta, Co-founder and COO, Trak N Tell, said in a statement.

The product offers customers the ability to completely track and monitor their fleet of vehicles through notifications and alerts on their smartphones.

It is compatible with any commercial vehicle -- cabs, buses and trucks -- and is perfect to secure the vehicle, passengers, and goods from any untoward incidents.

"we have created the 'Intelli Fleet' so that commercial vehicle owners can have complete security and peace of mind about their vehicles and whatever they might be carrying - passengers or cargo," Gupta added.
