Mangaluru, Jan 11: Multilingual actress Chirashree Anchan showed a wonderful gesture by inviting the members of GS Old Age Home, Kodialbail for the screening of her blockbuster movie ‘Pavithra’ at the Tulu Film Festival here at Cinepolis on January 9.
‘Pavithra’, released in 2016 directed by Nagavenkatesh was a blockbuster hit which ran over 100 days. Shravanth and Chirashree Anchan play the lead role along with Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, and Manoj Puttur in prominent roles.
Nearly 20 members from GS Old Age Home from Kodialbail watched the film and appreciated the same.
Earlier, the member of GS Old Age Home Krishna Bai inaugurated the show. Producer Anantha Ramaram Ermal, INTUC district vice-president Chiranjeevi Anchan, Rajesh Brahmavar and others were present.
Speaking to daijiworld.com Chirashree Anchan said, "I love elderly people. It struck me that I could invite these lovely people from the old age home to watch the movie. I noticed that they enjoyed the movie and had a nice time. I am really blessed to receive appreciation from them.”
