Mumbai, Jan 4: St John Konkani Samuday, St John Evangelist Church, Marol, Andheri east visited Bandra East Community Centre and celebrated new year with the children of the orphanage there.
Claudy Monteiro Modankapu, behind the curtain social worker, member of executive committee of the organization led the group. The office bearers of the Samuday and members donated rice, sugar, tea powder, biscuits, soaps and other food items. They entertained the children with music. BECC director Fr Prem Arokyan welcomed everyone, thanked and blessed the group.
Konkani Samuday secretary Mary Fernandes, treasurer James D'Sa, members Thelma D'Sa, Claudy Monteiro, Jayaveera Paladka, Hilda Pereira, Gretta D'Silva, Alice D'Souza, Denis D'Silva, Gracy Dantis, Regina D'Silva, Lidwin Menezes Povai and others were present.
