Bengaluru, Dec 22: Ayush department has found a medicine for lethal dengue disease. The medicine has been named 'Ayush PJ7'. A team of scientists from The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences has prepared this medicine.
A team of about a hundred scientists was engaged with the task of finding a cure for dengue since the last two years. After long research assisted by practitioners of native medicines, this medicine was prepared. The doctors involved with the team claim that trial of this treatment was conducted on a rat and that the success rate has been 90 percent.
The team which had experts from botany, chemistry, biology and Ayurvedic scientists, also had Dr Sulochana Bhat from Karnataka as its member. Ayush PJ7 will be introduced at the training programme of Ayush researchers being held at Belagavi on December 23.
