Belagavi, Dec 9: "Chief minister Siddaramaiah is treating the BJP as his enemy and taking a soft stance towards anti-national elements," said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Muralidhar Rao.
Condemning Congress government for failing to take a tough stand on terror forces, he said that the state has become a 'haven' for anti-national elements. BJP has lost 14 of its workers during the Congress rule, he blamed and added that the issue will be raised during the assembly elections.
"Siddaramaiah is an anti-Hindu and this is proved by the celebration of Tipu Jayanti by the state government," he lashed.
When asked his reaction on BJP MLA Umesh Katti's 'haramkhor' remark against the party leaders, Rao justified that Katti was scolding his own party leaders unlike Congress leaders who use unparliamentarily words against other party leaders, he said, hinting Mani Shankar Aiyar’s 'neech' jibe against Modi.
"However, disciplinary action would be taken against the party workers or leaders who speak ill of leaders or party that would damage the interests of the party," he asserted and said he will comment on the issue after speaking with Katti.
