Ghaziabad, Jun 14: Emotions and tempers ran high with relatives, police and media jostling with each other as Krishna, compounder of Dr Rajesh Talwar, prime accused in the gruesome Noida double murder case, was brought on Saturday to the Ghaziabad local court.
Dressed in casual grey T-shirt and blue jeans, Krishna, who was on Friday arrested by the CBI, walked into the court amidst all the high drama. A pale-looking Krishna stood motionless when the CBI counsel was explaining the need for the custodial interrogation.
Krishna broke down inconsolably when his sister Parvati arrived in the court room. Hugging his sister tightly, both of them cried while his cousin brother Laxman looked on even as media and the police personnel surrounded them. "He is innocent. He has done nothing wrong. Please save him," an inconsolable Parvati said as TV cameras zoomed in amidst flashes of still photographers.
As he stood solemnly in the court of Additional Civil Judge Deep Kant Mani, all eyes were on the CBI counsel R K Saini, who pitched for a 14 days' of CBI remand.
Saini contended that Krishna's custodial interrogation was necessary for ensuring some more arrests and also said the agency was yet to recover the weapon used in the gruesome murders of 14-year-old Aarushi and the domestic help Hemraj along with their mobile phone and some blood soaked clothes.
