Mangaluru, Sep 30: Noted philanthropist and social worker of Dakshina Kannada Kadandale Suresh S Bhandary on Friday, September 29, released the audio of his son Saurabh S Bhandary’s Tulu debut film ‘Ambar Caterers’ in a very meaningful way at Abhaya Ashram, Assaigoli, in the midst of elderly people residing at the ashram.
Addressing the gathering, Suresh Bhandary said, “The shooting of ‘Amber Caterers’, the first Tulu film produced under the banner of Nageshwara Cine Combines is completed and it is scheduled to hit the screens in October. The film is at the censor board at present. It is a big budget film of Rs 1.35 crore and produced on par with Bollywood. It is a new effort in Tulu film industry. The film is produced with the intention that Tulu language and the love for Tulu films grow. It is necessary to create a stage for new artistes.”
Director of the film, Jaya Prasad Bajal said that veteran artistes Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sumitra Pandith and Pavan Kalyan have acted in the film and have dubbed for their dialogues in Tulu.
Minister U T Khader, lead actor of ‘Ambar Caterers’ Saurabh S Bhandary, music director Manikanth Kadri, Harish Katpady, Shreyas Shetty and others were present.
