Mumbai: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha holds annual meeting

Mumbai, Sep 27: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha on September 24 held its ninth annual meeting at Vijayalaxmi Mahesh Shetty mini hall, Kurla east.

President of the Sangha, Chandrashekar Palethady presided over the meeting. Vice president Daya Sagar Chowta, Patrakartara Bhavana Samiti executive president Dr Shiva Moodigere, sports committee executive president Jaya C Poojary were on the dais. Chief honorary secretary Rons Bantwal welcomed everyone and read the previous year's meeting report. Honorary treasurer Premanath B Shetty Mondkoor presented the previous year's accounts. Chartered accountant CA I R Shetty and company were re-appointed auditors for the year 2017-18. Jaya C Poojary presented the details of the cricket tournament scheduled for members soon.



Kiran B Rai, Harish Moodbidri, Gopala Trasi, Janardhan Puria, Mamatha R Naik, Dr Ishwar Alevooru, Navin K Inna, Dinesh Shetty Renjala, Daya Sagar Chowta, Shiva Moodigere, Harish Hejmady spoke on behalf of the members.

Joint secretary Babu K Belchada, working committee members Sham M Hande, Vishwanath Poojary Niddodi, Gurudath S Poonja Mundkoor, Dr Dinesh Shetty Renjala, Sujana Lawrence Coelho, Janardhan S Puria, specially invited members Suresh Shetty Yeyyadi, Sridhar Uchil and others were present.

Mamatha R Naik sang a prayer song. Tributes were paid to those journalists who passed away during the year. Honorary secretary Harish Hejmady proposed the vote of thanks.
