Mumbai, Sep 25: Entrepreneur and social worker, Nagriguthu Vivek Shetty on September 21 was elected president of Bantwala Bantara Sangha for 2017-2020 unopposed. This is his second term as president.

During his earlier term as president he had taken the initiative to construct a Bantara Bhavan and get it inaugurated by the chief minister Siddaramaiah.

He is running his own Technotherma Furnaces Private limited business.

He is a trustee of Bantara Sangha Mumbai and was the vice president of the committee of higher education and current president of the committee of education and social welfare. He is also the president of the Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
