Mangaluru, Sep 18: Coastal Karnataka is known for producing talents as a lot of young promising talents have emerged to make it big in the film industry. Similarly, a young talent named Chirashree Anchan has achieved greater heights not only in Coastalwood, but also other film industries.
The 20-year-old lass, who hails from Haleangadi is the proud daughter of Madhusoodan Anchan and Poornima Madhu. She made her debut in Tulu film ‘Rambarooti’ and later was seen in Tulu film 'Pavithra' which went on to become a massive hit. When she achieved name and fame in Coastalwood, she also got an opportunity to star in Kannada
and Telugu films. Telugu film director Surya roped her in for a lead role in the movie 'Aame Athadaithe'. Chirashree was confident that her film career will take off when more offers knocked her doors and hence she signed Kannada, Tamil and Tulu movies.
After her Telugu debut in ‘Aame Athadaithe’, Chirashree has four Sandalwood movies in her kitty. Chirashree's Kannada movie ‘Huliraaya’ directed by Aravind Kaushik will be releasing on October 5, ‘Udumba’ and ‘Karikambaliyalli Midinaaga’ are ready for release, and 'Shivanapaada' movie is being shot.
She has also signed Tamil movie ‘Malaithen'. Chirashree will also be seen in Coastalwood with Praveen D’Souza directorial 'Aapina Matha Yeddege' opposite VJ Vineeth.
Speaking to daijiworld.com Chirashree said, "I was always interested in films since my childhood. As I progressed, my confidence level grew higher. I take a confident smile along with me. I always wanted to play challenging roles like Priyanka Chopra does in her movies. My character in my upcoming Tulu movie is a challenging one.”
