Mangaluru, Sep 1: Sunday, September 3, will be the final episode of the film series, ‘Maa –Yeh Cinemaa Hai’ that began its journey with its first premiere episode on Sunday, May 14, 2017 on the occasion of ‘Mothers Day’. Since then, it has successfully completed 15 weeks of its telecast, every Sunday on Daijiworld 24x7.
The film series that has around 100 plus artists from Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Mumbai and across the globe with those of stars, models, newcomers and common people has got a tremendous positive response and has been viewed even on its repeat telecasts by Daijiworld viewers from Dakshina Kannada and those from Gulf countries on their television sets and on YouTube on the Daijiworld24x7 web application.
This week’s episode will highlight a few scenes that showcase the central character Jaya Maa (Actress Meena Malani)’s birthday celebrations in the series as September 3, co-incidentally also happens to be her birthday. It also features scenes from other films ‘Sulige Sikkidaaga’ and ‘SMS 6260’ in which Meena Malani featured in important roles.
Co incidentally, all these films have been directed by her son, Sandeep Malani. The episode features Meena Malani, Velu Murugan, Ranjeet Jha, Violet Pereira, Vincent Pereira, Geeta Suvarna, Denzil Pereira, Mohammed Kabeer, Clara Pinto, Tresilla D’Souza (Kitty Bai), Sharon David, Vishal Digani, Reshma Malani, Nigel Pereira, Kamakshi Udaiyar, Juliet Savio Aranha, Roseline Sequeira, Joseph Rajan and Baby Isabelle.
Kalpana Pandit, Lalitha Rajagopal, Ivy Fernandes, Xavier Fernandes and Vivek Punjabi from ‘Sulige Sikkidaaga’; Jayalakshmi, Dattanna, and Vinny Fernandes from ‘SMS 6260’ also feature in this episode.
The birthday celebration happy song 'Jeele Jeele' also features Deepali Khambadkone, Sanjukta Ghosh, Mahendra Pandey, Sharanya Jit Kaur, Bharath Lakshmikanth, Shubha Raksha, Varsha Acharya, Lalita Kumari, Chirag Kundapur, Cherrie Ash and Mohammed Aashiq.
Sanjukta Ghosh, Vishal Digani and Mahendra Pandey share their beautiful experience of shooting for the film and playing their characters of Alia, Salman and Ranveer. A beautiful collage video of the entire cast who had dubbed for their characters in the film is also showcased in the episode.
And as a final signatory scene, a cute scene at our Mangaluru beachside featuring Ranjeet Jha, Bharath Lakshmikanth and Sandeep Malani along with 3 cute stray puppies is shown, thus implicating that – not only humans but even dogs are dear to us, and we give our love and care as a mother gives to the children. No doubt, Malani himself loves dogs and is also an animal Lover, being also an active PETA member.
The episode will be telecast on Sunday, September 3 at 7.30 pm and repeat on Friday, September 8 at 5.30 pm.
