London, Aug 23 (IANS): Capital football club Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday announced the extension of defender Kyle Walker-Peters' contract till June 2020.
The 20-year-old English player made his English Premier League (EPL) debut with Tottenham in a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on August 13, when he was named Man of the Match, reports Efe.
"We are delighted to announce that Kyle Walker-Peters has signed a new contract with the club until 2020," Tottenham said in a statement on its official website.
The defender has played for England's Under-18, U-19 and U-20 national teams.
"I am over the moon at the moment," Walker-Peters said after signing the extension.
He added that he was "delighted" with signing a new contract with Tottenham and continuing in the English squad.
Kyle joined Tottenham Academy full-time in 2013.
