New Delhi, Aug 4 (IANS): Domestic telecom brand Kult from the Optiemus group on Friday launched its 'Beyond' budget smartphone at Rs 6,999.
Housing a multi-purpose fingerprint sensor, 'Beyond' will be available on Amazon.in from August 18.
"This smartphone comes with class-leading features and functionalities at a very attractive price," said Hardip Singh, Executive Director, Optiemus Infracom, in a statement.
The fingerprint sensor feature can be used to unlock the device, open applications, answer calls, play and pause music and movies, turn off the alarm and scroll home page.
Featuring 5.2-inch HD IPS display, it sports 13MP rear camera and 13MP selfie camera with dual-tone LED flash support in both.
The dual-sim device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM which is expandable upto 32GB.
Powered by 1.25 GHz quad-core 64 bit processor, the phone runs Android Nougat 7.0 OS.
Backed with 3000mAh battery, 'Beyond' claims to give a talk time up to 25 hours.
Optiemus would from September manufacture BlackBerry-branded devices in the country.
BlackBerry 'KEYone' limited edition black will be the first such device Optiemus will manufacture.
