Ravneet Kaur is new ITDC Chairperson, Managing Director

New Delhi, Jul 31 (IANS): Ravneet Kaur, Additional Secretary, has been appointed as chairperson and managing director of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), it was announced here on Monday.

Ravneet Kaur, a 1988 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre, was Joint Secretary in Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion under Ministry of Commerce and Industry prior to this role, an official statement said.

She succeeds Umang Narula, a 1989 batch IAS officer of the J&K cadre.
