Shanmugh Natarajan appointed MD to lead Adobe India operations


New Delhi, Jul 21 (IANS): Global software giant Adobe on Friday announced that Shanmugh Natarajan has been appointed Managing Director for Adobe Systems in India.

Natarajan was formerly Executive Director and will continue to lead Adobe operations in the country in addition to his ongoing responsibility as Vice President, Engineering, Digital Media at Adobe.

"Natarajan provides leadership across our teams in India, which contribute to the strength of our employment brand and advancing Adobe's position as a sought-after place to work," Donna Morris, Executive Vice President, Customer and Employee Experience at Adobe, said in a statement.

Natarajan joined Adobe in 2008 and has been instrumental in leading product development of products like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash and Lightroom.

He has also contributed to the development of several mobile and web products for Adobe Creative Cloud.

"It is my privilege to take on the role of Managing Director, and lead India operations to greater success. Adobe India is an ecosystem of great talent driven by innovation mindset. We will continue to deliver exemplary products while focusing on customer experiences," Natarajan added.

Natarajan will continue to lead R&D and operations for Adobe India while Kulmeet Bawa, Managing Director, South Asia will continue to lead Adobe's field operations in the country.
