Dubai, Jul 19 (IANS): The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday cleared Sri Lanka fast bowler Shaminda Eranga's bowling action, allowing him to resume bowling in international cricket.
Eranga underwent a reassessment of his action at the ICC accredited testing centre in Chennai with the conclusion that the amount of elbow extension in his standard deliveries was within the 15-degree level allowed by the global cricket body, according to an espncricinfo report.
Eranga, whose bowling action was found illegal in June last year following the second Test in England was since then suspended from bowling in international cricket.
