Mangaluru, Jul 15: Skeletal remains were found from a farm by the side of Kemral Pakshikere - Panja main road on Friday July 14.
It is suspected that they belong to Bhavani Poojary (70) who was living near Kemral a little distance from this spot. She had gone missing after going out of her home on May 28.
Bhavani was mentally unsound and efforts made by her family members to trace her had failed. Thereafter, a missing complaint was filed at Mulky police station.
The spot where the bones were found is deserted. The skeleton appears to have got disintegrated, spreading the bones all around it. The remains were identified with the help of torch found nearby and the clothes accompanying the skeleton.
