Siddaramaiah requests Parikkar for a date for meeting on Mahadayi

Bengaluru, Jul 12: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has requested his Goa counterpart Manohar Parikkar to indicate a tentative date for holding a meeting between Karnataka, Goa and Maharasthra Chief Ministers for resovling the Mahadayi water dispute amicably.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a letter to the Goa Chief Minister on Wednesday appealed to Parikkar to indicate a tentative date for peaceulresolution to the water dispute between three states.

Siddarmaiah’s efforts to convene a meeting between three states has been appreciated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Padnavis.

In a letter to Siddarmaiah, Padnavis said: “I request you to let us know the tentative date convenient to you for meeting amongst us and the Chief Minister of Goa.”
