Belagavi, Jul 12: A man, enraged over property dispute involving his brothers, murdered one of his younger brothers who was working in his field, before reaching Gandhinagar Bridge in Alarwada village in the taluk by a bicycle and slaying another younger sibling with a sickle.
The victims of this senseless act happen to be Ghouse Saheblal Mulla (42) and bis brother, Muhammd Saheblal Mulla (52) from Alarwada village. Accused Muhammed Rasool Saheblal Mulla was caught by the locals who ruthlessly attacked him, leaving him injured. He stands admitted into the district hospital here for treatment.
The family of Mulla has 4.3 acres of land in Alarwada village. Muhammed Rasool had partitioned the property between four brothers but he often fought with his brothers, seeking lion's share in the property. It is said that he was angry at the resistance offered by his brothers to the said proposal.
