Margao, Apr 22: Hindu Janjagruti Samiti and Bajrang Dal unanimously passed a resolution to teach a lesson to all those who are responsible for causing damage to Hindu Dharma and those who are anti-Hindus/heretics, in the public meeting held at Costa Ground- Madgaon.
With a view to unite Hindus and to increase their pride for Hinduism this meeting was organized jointly by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti and Bajrang Dal. Around 4000-odd Hindus were present during the convention. It was termed as 'Dharma Jagruti Sabha’.
The meeting began with blowing a conch and was followed by recitation of shlokas from the Vedas by Sanatan’s seeker-priest Damodar Vaze, his associate Ketan Shahane and others.
Thereafter the editor of 'Sanatan Prabhat’, Pruthviraj Hajare was felicitated by H H Swami Maharaj with a shawl and coconut (Shriphal). Sean Clarke, the editor of Spiritual Science Research Foundation said in his speech that 'Dharmashikshan' is the need of the hour to counter the attacks made by anti-Hindus.
Dilip Betkekar of Vidya Bharati said that Hindutva and Hindustan are related like body and soul.
Dr Manoj Solaki of Sanatan Sanstha also stressed upon the need of Dharmashikshan for every Hindu.
Jayesh Thali of 'Dharmashakti Sena' expressed that the time has now come for all to fight to protect Dharma and the nation at the cost of their lives. Hindu Janjagruti Samiti's national spokesperson, Dr Durgesh Samant said that the one who participates in this mission to protect Dharma and the nation shall be remembered for ever.
The meeting concluded with the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ presented by Gauri Hajare and Sayali Gadgil.
